The Bostonian band is back with a new album “Kindred” in April and have dropped track 1 that wastes NO TIME reminding you how glorious and soaring their music can be. Tomorrow their album pre-sale begins and another new track will be unleashed too.

“..The sky broke apart then you appeared,
Out from the heavens, they called me a dreamer”

*UPDATE* The new track is “Where the Sky Hangs” (below)

Come *Fade (to) White* with me @BATHSmusic #BATHS

Not a newie.. but was a todays discoverie. ❤

You will be greatly rewarded if you are patient until 1:12 of the song.

Baths electro-experimental-pop delights have been infectious for years.. his live shows are equally boppy and fun. #PlumApproved

“screw the rations, screw the map
i’ll see you at the sun’s collapse
forget work done, forget our past
i’ll see you at the sun’s collapse”

Future Teens hitting stride with ‘Girlfriend on a Gap Year’ & ‘Action Potential’

The tunes are becoming too much for me to contain these days.. therefore, I turn to my blog.

Future Teens broke up in 2007. In 2014, Grape Goodman and Doo Radin decided to put aside their differences and reunite to continue creating their unique brand of summer rock music. Their new single is “Girlfriend on a Gap Year” from their forthcoming EP “Still Afraid of Allston.” Please welcome back Future Teens.

You cleared a sparkle in ah. You glow in the dark in ah. Make everybody go ah. The way you are . #ISeeRightThruU w/ #CheapSunglasses

Earlier this year I was ranting and raving about RAC, a phenomenal live remix band that you HAVE to see, as they unleashed the “Strangers” compilation on us with a number of fabulous collaborations with the likes of Kele (Bloc Party), Tegan & Sara and St. Lucia, amongst others.

Here’s my old post HERE.

Welllllllllllll..   a DJ by the name of Amtrac just gave us a first taste of his remix of the hit ‘Cheap Sunglasses’ that will drop on a remix album on Sept 16th.

This is a simply beautiful remix of an already beautiful song. It sings perfection.

Songs from the Awesomer – She’s got a secret weapon.. she used it time and time again. @DesmondAndTutus

The South African indie rockers are back with more fun, wild and crazy tunes to hook your ears up to. The first half of their new EP called “Enjoy Yourself part 1” just dropped and it does NOT disappoint.  The tracks contain all the familiar elements of Tutu’s past, with soaring guitar riffs and infectious bass lines, and sets up for the big release of Part 2 to complete the set.

Below are two of the four tracks for your listening pleasure. The 4-song list is available on iTunes already and I have the songs on repeat. SO GOOD.

Desmond and the Tutu’s – Tearing Up (Big Guns) &

Desmond and the Tutu’s – Pretoria Girls

.. and here’s one of my fav oldie’s by the Tutu’s

Some @SirSly solid tunes, both new and old – ‘Oh oh oh I’m never gonna let you go-oh-oh’

Back in May I decided it was the right thing to go to a concert the night before my Macro Econ exam with my sister. I wasn’t wrong. Seriously.

The bands that night – The 1975, the Bad Suns and Sir Sly… seriously.  (sweet line up!)

Sir Sly is a fun, catchy, sometimes haunting outfit from L.A. that is coming out with their debut album on September 16th, called ‘You Haunt Me’.

In the build up to their album launch, they just released an amazing cover of Arcade Fire’s hit song ‘Afterlife’.

Check it out below!

Sir Sly – Afterlife (Arcade Fire cover)

Here’s the hit, title track from this new album.. so good!

It’s still summer, so we still need summer tunes!! Don’t worry though. I got U.

I’m back in NYC from my summer travels and shenanigans. It’s time to get the blog fired up again to soak in the last few weeks of summer, and to help guide your dancing shoes into the Fall and Winter.

Here’s a tune from young phenom DJ from the UK, Duke Dumont, whose video shows just how a song can take you to a tropical paradise of your choosing! Great song and make sure you turn it up loud enough over the roaring of your Air Conditioners…   mine is.

Duke Dumont – I got U (feat. Jax Jones)

“Ask me what I did with my life

I spent it with you

If I lose my fame and fortune

(Really don’t matter)
As long as I got you, baby”

Ok, here’s another summer-y, fun, epic dance track I love.. from long long long ago.

Kings of Convenience – I’d rather dance with you (Redlight Remix)
